Much of our work involves measuring the difference others make. Getting involved and making our own difference is also an important part of who we are as individuals and as an organization.
Center for Community Research, DEA, HIDTA, County Public Health Officials and local families will be recognizing International Overdose Awareness Day on Thursday, August 29 at the County Administration Center, (CAC). 1600 Pacific Highway, northwest lawn. We will be placing flags for each life lost in 2023. Resource tables will have prevention, treatment and harm reduction materials a press conference will be held at 9 AM.

New San Diego Grand Jury Report on Marijuana - San Diego police and the county sheriff should collaborate to crack down on unlicensed cannabis delivery services and smoke shops that illegally sell synthetic CBD, the county grand jury says in a new report. The report also recommends the city and county evaluate and document the impacts of cannabis legalization on their finances and local law enforcement efforts. The county is also asked to analyze impacts on health care.
