Much of our work involves measuring the difference others make. Getting involved and making our own difference is also an important part of who we are as individuals and as an organization.
MPI will be at the 2021 CASCWA conference presenting about drug trends on April 26, 27. Over 600 registrants will be participating in the virtual conference. CASCWA stands for the California Association of Supervisors of Child Welfare an Attendance. This is a great event to share resources and learn about new trends.
The conference is shaping up to be one of the best conferences ever. For all Registrants, please expect a communication around April 9th for your selections and additional information.

A Southwest Airlines passenger had to put out a fire on a flight headed to Sacramento Wednesday when his vape pen overheated in his pocket. A report by the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services says on a flight from San Diego to Sacramento, a passenger was in the plane’s bathroom when his vape pen started heating up in his pocket.
When he took it out, the report says the lithium battery in the e-cigarette started smoking and caught fire.

Join Us! Upcoming parent & student virtual forum, ‘Protecting Adolescent Brain Development’ on 3/23 from 6-7:30pm. North Coastal Prevention Coalition, Vista Community Clinic, MPI and Institute for Behavior and Health will be hosting the event.
